We live in the "golden age of television." There are so many TV series being filmed that you can watch them from morning to night - whatever you want, for every taste. And I would like to talk about this in more detail - about the very different tastes of the audience and about ratings full of words “amazing”, “best in history”, etc. Do you always agree with these ratings?

Surely not always. So users of the Reddit forum decided to speak out about what was painful for each of them. Please note: these are personal and very subjective opinions of individual Internet users, which in no case is anyone trying to present to you as the truth. After all, we can think completely differently.

So, here is a small list of TV series that some praise to the skies, and others consider to be greatly overrated.

1. "Stranger Things." Should have stopped after the first season! They shouldn't have continued..."

2. "The Big Bang Theory." Well, they stretched it out so much that I got terribly tired of looking at them."

3. "Gilmore Girls." The character named Rory is a terrible person."

4. Sons of Anarchy is just ridiculous. We have to believe that their club is the most important thing to them and they are willing to do anything for their "brothers". But they just kill each other"

5. "Force Majeure" - in most episodes, these influential and powerful lawyers are constantly at a dead end, not knowing what to do. And then suddenly someone gives them an idea - and voila. Cheap script, "he said, she said" office drama

6. "Euphoria". Impressive cinematography, good production. But the plot is clumsy, threads stick out everywhere, and the characters are very flat."

7. “If no one says it, I will. The Squid Game that everyone is watching right now is a bloated mess.”

8. "Game of Thrones" is not bad and deserves attention, but many of the plot threads in it were hopelessly sagging and were never stitched together."

9. "Lucifer" I loved this series for the first few seasons, but then its quality dropped sharply, and seasons 5 and 6 were downright terrible. Why don’t they know how to stop in time?”

10. "Rick and Morty." Yes, I like it because it's funny and cleverly written, but I'm tired of it being presented as some new philosophy. Look, this is just another comedy for adults, nothing more."

11. "Mrs. Brown's Boys." Not sure if this is popular anywhere else other than the UK. But oh my god, what a terrible piece of crap...

... Incredibly low level of humor, the target audience is adults who still have to wear Velcro sneakers because they never learned to tie their laces."

12. “This is a controversial opinion, but still: Dexter. Season 1 was outstanding. Then it was complete crap until the very end.”

13. "Supernatural." Very monotonous, repeat on repeat. They should have finished everything much earlier, but who would refuse money"

14. "Staying Alive." The same problem as with many of J. J. Abrams' projects: a great, promising premise, but these promises are not fulfilled. In short, there are a lot of inconsistencies in the script, and the writers have to figure it out as they go along. The result is not about

15. "Girls", such an elite trash show. And Lena Dunham is just wildly annoying."

16. "American Horror Story." The first two seasons were excellent, then I just forced myself to watch through force. Deflated"

17. "Try to watch Dawson's Creek now, you'll see how creepy it is. And how many fans it had"

18. "13 reasons why." Let's make a show aimed at teenagers and show them how they can use suicide as a weapon to get revenge on all their bullies?"

19. "Firefly fans will rip me apart, but I have to say. This show had great potential, but it was canceled too early and didn't have time to gain momentum. Yes, there are great episodes, but the rest is just average quality."

"It's being lauded more as the show it should have been but didn't."

20. "Grace's Anatomy." It's just time to end this series. It is high time!"

21. "This is us." A tear squeezer that squeezes strong emotions out of you. If you want to cry and cleanse yourself, then this will do. But this is far from the masterpiece that those who like to cry are shouting about on all corners."

22. "I've always been surprised how The Walking Dead even went beyond two seasons. It's the same storyline every time...

... they run away, find shelter, go out in search of food, some of them are bitten, they need to reel in the fishing rods again, again look for a new place. And so on for about 10 seasons. Well, boredom to death"

23. “There’s nothing to argue about here. In my opinion, the most overrated series is Money Heist. Don’t you agree?”

24. “I love anime and I love the Naruto series. But I have to admit: 45 percent of the episodes are completely passable.”

25. "How I Met Your Mother." Each episode glorifies and romanticizes the completely toxic behavior of the main character, Ted. He's just crazy"
