We remember many cool games on the Dendy console not only for their good and interesting gameplay, but also for their cool music, which literally immerses us in the atmosphere of the game and makes our ears delight.

Today I would like to talk about several games that, in my opinion, have excellent music.

Contra Force

Despite the fact that the most iconic game from the “Contra” series is “Contra” itself, and everyone knows its melodies by heart, I personally think that the game “Contra Force” contains the most cool and interesting compositions.

Moreover, it is difficult to point out any specific level, since the soundtracks at each level are simply magnificent, but the music from the very first level directly touches the soul.

Alien 3

The special atmosphere in the game "Alien 3" is created by the musical design, starting with the splash screen and ending with the music at the levels. When listening to these melodies, the player involuntarily has a feeling of anxiety, which ideally immerses the player in the gameplay.

Darkwing Duck

The game "Black Cloak" is certainly one of the top 10 best games on the "Dendy" console for most gamers of the 90s. And it is the music that creates a special atmosphere during the game. Moreover, I don’t take into account the screensaver.

Personally, my favorite tunes are from the levels "Bridge", "Sewer" and "Forest". As for me, they are simply ideal within the framework of this game.

Well, it’s worth mentioning separately the catchy but disturbing music from the battle with the bosses after completing each level.

Batman

The music from the game "Batman" is just perfect for this game. It is rhythmic, serious and fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the game.

Shadow of the ninga (Kage)

The game "Shadow of the ninja" is one of my ten favorite games on the "Dendy" console, and the musical theme in this game is also very interesting. But I would especially like to highlight the background music from the very first level of the game.

Kick Master

The very first level in the game "Kick master", which is called "Witch forest", has excellent music, especially in the first level. The music is incredibly reminiscent of metal bands, and I'm sure this tune would make a perfect cover.

Werewolf: the last warrior

"Werewolf" is not the most popular, but an incredibly interesting game where the hero can be either in human form or in the form of an upright wolf.

The soundtrack here is also of very high quality, which ideally immerses the player in the gameplay. There are few melodies here, since each of them corresponds not to a level, but to certain events, such as the appearance of a person, the appearance of a wolf, a battle with a boss or a screensaver. And to be honest, I have no complaints about any of these tunes.

Chip 'n Dale 2

I already mentioned in one of my videos that the soundtrack in the game “Chip and Dale” is very childish and uninteresting, but in the second part it changed for the better.

Personally, my favorite tunes are from the first level (Kitchen) and the haunted house level. Also, I would like to mention two tunes from the boss battle, of which there are only three in the game.

Double Dragon 2

Of the entire "Double dragon" series of games, I like the tunes most from the second part of the game, namely the melody from the first level, the disturbing melody during the battle with my clone (shadow) and of course I especially like the musical theme during the battle with the bosses.

G.I. Joe: American Hero

To be honest, I never played this game as a child (although I already wrote about it somewhere), but I played a pirated version called “Contra Fighter”, where instead of G.I. Joe, we had to play as fighters from the game "Street Fighter".

Already as a child, I noted how interesting and atmospheric the melodies in this game were. But I'd especially like to highlight the tunes from levels 1-1 and 3-1, as well as the tunes from the boss battles, but not all of them. After each sub-level we had to fight a separate boss. There were three such melodies in total and each of them corresponded to its own sublevel. Therefore, I would like to note that it was the melodies of the first and second bosses that impressed me. The melody in the battle with the final bosses turned out to be much more boring.

What tunes from the old games on the Dendy console did you like the most? Please write in the comments.
