Summer flies by very quickly! Some made plans for it, others went with the flow, but film companies actively promoted their films.
Rotten Tomatoes has compiled a ranking of this summer's biggest releases that have earned the attention of both critics and regular audiences. Some items on the list may surprise you at least because the popular “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” are not in the top three. You can find out who surpassed the sensational films and who was inferior from our review.
15th place. "Elementary"
A cartoon from Pixar and Disney about a town inhabited by four classical elements (elements). Two representatives of different elements discover that they have much in common.
14th place. "Asteroid City"
A new work by Wes Anderson, a lover of symmetry and aesthetic pictures. The main roles in the film were played by Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton and other celebrities.
13th place. "Blue Beetle"
A film based on DC comics about a teenager who becomes the owner of superpowers. Critics praised the performance of Sholo Maridueña (Blue Beetle).
12th place. "Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 3"
Perhaps the most serious of all parts of “Guardians”, telling about a new mission to save an entire planet and, of course, about the story of Rocket (one of the main characters). But, despite the heartbreaking plot, James Gunn delights us with appropriate humor here too.
11th place. "Jules"
This fantastic comedy with elements of drama stars well-known actors of sophisticated age (Ben Kingsley, Harriet Sansom Harris, Jane Curtin and others), who will be able to touch and amuse the viewer.
10th place. "Blackening"
Critics said the film could have been a little scarier and funnier, but it was nonetheless a thoughtful satire of racial stereotypes.
9th place. "Barbie"
The reason behind all the latest memes and trends or the highest grossing film directed by a woman.
8th place. "Crazy Ride"
A Chinese-American woman's deal turns into a search for her birth mother, without whom she won't be able to get her dream job. Friends and acquaintances are drawn into the adventure.

5th place. "Talk to me"
An exciting horror film with modern effects, built on a classic plot. A story about how playing with the supernatural can turn into a disaster.
4th place. "Spider-Man: Web of Universes"
Viewers were not only taken on a journey through the Universe of “spiders” and its various representatives, but also acquainted with various artistic and computer techniques that change depending on the character. Such animation works prove that technological progress makes it possible to improve the abilities of talented artists.
3rd place. Mission: Impossible: Deadly Reckoning. Part one"
The seventh film in the Mission: Impossible franchise starring Tom Cruise about a world threatened by artificial intelligence.
2nd place. "Past Lives"
The film was named one of the strongest debuts at the Sundance Film Festival in recent years. Indie Wire (a magazine about independent cinema) also spoke about the professionalism of the director (Celine Sohn), who is predicted to have a brilliant career, and the actors who played the main roles.
1 place. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem"
First of all, “Turtles” won attention with a completely new visualization, which was inspired by drawings in school notebooks, that is, essentially, the dreams and hobbies of the teenagers themselves, who are the main characters.
