Many creators of spectacular films, where the emphasis is on entertainment, forget to invite good screenwriters, which is why the picture turns into an impressive, but rather stupid attraction.

Here are 12 films with very low audience and critic ratings, but at the same time huge budgets that could have been used to make several good smaller films.

Moreover, when looking at the indicated amounts for films from the 2000s or even earlier, one must take into account the inflation factor. That is, the conditional $175 million from 2007 turns into more than $200 million in 2021. What is especially sad for the creators is that most of these films also did not pay off at the box office.
