The film takes place in 1935. It was released second, but in the chronology of events the film is the first. It is noteworthy that Harrison Ford was injured twice on the set: in one case it was a fight with an assassin, and in the other with a bear. The last scene, unfortunately, did not make it into the film.

Indiana Jones has been at the epicenter of historical events since childhood. He travels the world and meets various important people. And when he grows up, he joins the Belgian army with his friend and goes to the First World War.
The series tells about the events that took place in 1908–1920. After two seasons, the project was canceled due to low ratings. However, this did not stop George Lucas, and he went on to release four extended episodes with added scenes: “The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: Hollywood Whimsy”, “The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: The Eye of the Peacock”, “Young Indiana Jones: A Journey with Father” and "The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: Cupid's Trap." Lucas later edited the series into 22 television films (“Passion for Life”, “The Path of Light”, “Sweet Song of Love” and others). But if you don’t want to watch a bunch of low-quality projects, then you can ignore the works about young Indiana.

The events of the film take place in 1957. An important character appears in it - Jones' son, played by Shia LaBeouf. It was assumed that the actor would become the main character in the new Indiana Jones franchise. However, both critics and viewers criticized the film for its weak script and uninteresting plot, so there was no continuation with this character.
