How long should a full-length feature film be? Forty minutes, fifty, an hour? Some viewers start yawning after only half an hour of the film, even if it is full of exciting action scenes. For example, the Screen Actors Guild of America believes that a feature film should be no shorter than 80 minutes. Perhaps such a time can be called a standard today. During this time, the “filmmakers” need to accomplish a truly monumental task in order to fit a huge adventure into such a limited period. And all so that the viewer does not fall asleep while watching. But, of course, there are exceptions!
