Fires in California have almost become the norm, as have earthquakes in Indonesia: these photographs document the rampant nature of the elements around the world.

This is not the first year that environmentalists have been sounding the alarm: the planet’s climate is changing at incredible speed. And in this regard, real natural disasters are predicted. In the fall, a UN climate change summit was held in Glasgow, at which countries, among other things, agreed to reduce methane emissions by 2030 - these are the emissions that are blamed for global warming. And global warming is already in full swing.

But still, environmentalists do not consider the actions of governments to be truthful enough: Climate Action Tracker conducted a study that if humanity continues to be irresponsible in its activities, then by the end of the century the average temperature on the planet will rise by 2.4 degrees. Overall, this forecast is better than forecasts six years ago: at the 2015 summit, they spoke of a catastrophic 3.5 degrees Celsius. However, researchers still call for reducing harmful emissions so that by 2100 the maximum temperature rise is 1.5 degrees. Otherwise, our world will never be the same, and there are already alarm bells: just look at how the elements raged this year.
