Paula Stone
(January 20, 1912 – December 23, 1997) was an American stage and film actress from New York. Paula Stone was the daughter of Fred Stone, a famous stage actor, dance comedian, and founder of a theater foundation. Her mother, Allen Crater Stone, was a singer and performed with her husband. In addition, their family also owned a ranch, which was located in the city of Lima, Connecticut. At the age of 13, Paula made her debut on the stage of the Illinois Theater with the dance number Stepping Stones. Her two sisters (Dorothy and Carol) also followed in the footsteps of their parents and became actresses, but Paula herself always wanted to sing more than act, which is probably why she did not play much in films, and performed on the pop stage with great pleasure.
