Habitats of the hairiest men (6 photos)

It is known that some males are distinguished by an almost complete absence of hair on their body and face, while others are just walking forest bears. Why is this happening?

As is known, testosterone is responsible for the presence or, conversely, absence of vegetation. The more it is, the denser and thicker the hair. The voice is lower, the shoulders are wider, the Adam's apple is larger, the eyebrows are very prominent. Fun random fact: those with higher testosterone levels have shorter index fingers than their ring fingers.

But not only the internal indicator, but also the geographical location is responsible for the amount of hair. During the study, the results of which were published in the American Medical Journal, testosterone measurements were taken in five thousand men of various nationalities. 6% of white men living in the United States had the lowest rates. But among immigrants from Japan (including Hong Kong), the low rate was only 3%. This is unusual, because previously there was a strong belief that Asians have very little hair and, as a result, low testosterone.

But during the course of research, it became clear that those Mongoloids who live in the United States have the same level of testosterone as other residents of this country. That is, the characteristics of hair also depend on genetics, air, food, water and other external factors.

The result of another study showed that the hairiest men always live in southern countries. Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Australian aborigines, Caucasians and Japanese Ainu (by the way, there are 23,782 of them in the world)

It is interesting that if you look at history, you will notice that it was hairy men who most often were the founders of great empires: the Greeks, Arabs, Romans, Mongols, and British.

And if we return to Asians, then thinking about a Chinese, Korean or Japanese, then the head immediately imagines a complete absence of hair anywhere except the head. At worst, a sparse mustache or goatee. But this sparse vegetation is due solely to genetics.

The Chinese are a race of Mongoloids for whom very little hair growth is noted throughout the body. But their genetics was interfered with by Australoids, characterized by rich hair growth. This mixture gave at least some hair growth, albeit a little.

It's funny that with such a meager amount of hair, Asians use a beard as a symbol of masculinity. If it is long and thick, then, according to Chinese traditions and Chinese medicine, a person’s gall bladder works well, and it is designated by the hieroglyph “courage.” This is where this confidence came from that a beard is masculinity.

But modern Asians, by the way, are not fans of mustaches and beards, because they always grow thin and not everyone likes it.
