Spring is slowly but surely coming into its own. Birds and small animals will soon have more food. But the feeders that caring citizens equip for those who need it will not be empty.
Other citizens have already chosen them. You can't tell by their appearance that they are that hungry. And some even risk getting into the feeder and getting safely stuck in it. Why do cats do this? Perhaps the feeders resemble the boxes cats adore. Or maybe the tailed ones are testing their strength in this way or are simply taking a break from the hustle and bustle of home, diligently looking out for the late spring.
