These are stories of animal rescues by caring people, which show that animals - no matter whether they are wild or domestic - understand everything and are very grateful for our kindness.
Squirrel
Many people love squirrels, they are so cute. But the statistics are sad: 75-80 percent of squirrels do not live to see a year. This little squirrel got tangled in a fishing line. He just lay helplessly on the ground and asked for help. That's where these two guys found him. They freed the baby using scissors.
The little squirrel became so attached to people that at first he did not want to leave the guys when they tried to release the baby into the wild. But at some point he disappeared into the green foliage, but then immediately returned back to his pocket. The guys decided to take the little squirrel home. They built a basket with a wheel and an obstacle course, and the little squirrel lived with them until the next spring.
Puppy
The puppy got entangled in the tent. He screamed loudly and called for help, and suddenly a police officer approached the dog and grabbed the cloth. It was not easy, but the man was able to cut off a piece of the awning and free the poor fellow, who immediately stood up on his hind legs and hugged his savior.
Wolf
The man noticed a hungry wolf and without thinking twice fed it. The wild animal was not afraid of him. See how close it comes to the person.
It has been proven that wolves have high intelligence, they are able to become attached to people and can even develop trust. Having said goodbye, the driver wanted to go back, but the wolf stood in his way. The man no longer had lard, only bread, which he gave to the wolf. He chased the man for several more minutes. Perhaps the wolf was grateful for being fed, or perhaps he was hungry.
Octopus
Here a man helps out an octopus that got stuck in the sand during high tide. The octopus felt better and was already preparing to swim, but look what happened, he touched the man as a sign of gratitude.
How is this possible? The fact is that octopuses are the smartest among invertebrates. They have a good memory, they are trainable and can distinguish geometric shapes. And even get to know people and solve non-standard problems.
Cow
And now you see a rescue team going to help the cow. Her head got stuck in a tree. But this is not the only problem. The animal cannot move, and there is also a risk of being attacked by bulls. They are driven away with powerful jets of water from a fire hose.
And at this time, people manage to move the branches apart and free the animal’s neck.
Leopard
A thirsty leopard searched for water in a parched desert in Rajasthan, India. His head got stuck in the jug. It was in this position that people found the predator.
Surprisingly, the leopard did not panic or try to run away; instead, the predator patiently waited until it was freed. Authorities were able to free the leopard, temporarily putting it to sleep.
Killer whales
4 killer whales were stuck in the ice, two of them in almost inaccessible places. The ice began to shrink, squeezing the animals, who began to call for help. It was important for rescuers, divers and volunteers to move the ice blocks to prevent the killer whales from getting ice burns.
The animals were periodically doused with sea water, and from time to time they turned over on their backs, which could cause them to suffocate. Therefore, the rescue team decided to establish contact with them. People talked to the killer whales, encouraged them and calmed them down. A wounded 6-meter animal is visible, which calmly follows people’s commands and does not show aggression and allows rescuers to do what is necessary. After a medical examination, the animal quickly follows the other killer whales.
Shark
Diver Joshua Eccles was diving when he saw the lemon tree. She swam back and forth and nudged the man, as if to say that something was wrong. The diver examined the shark and noticed that something was sticking out in its stomach. It was a big rusty huge hook. He had to make an effort to remove the object. Eccles said the wound will heal quickly.
