And let's start with the TV series "The Newsgirls". Many people are used to seeing people travel from the future to tell them how bad it is and what needs to be fixed to avoid it. However, this project, on the contrary, takes 4 teenagers from 1988 to 2019. There they will have to meet their adult selves and find a way to get home without falling into the hands of futuristic intelligence agencies that eliminate such travelers.



But “The Bad and the Crazy” tells the story of a bad cop who is willing to do anything to get promoted and satisfy his ambitions. True, his life changes dramatically with the appearance of a slightly crazy righteous man. Who he is and why he appeared in the life of a policeman will become clear only as the plot develops.





The Lazarus Project is another time travel series that has been compared to Spooks and the iconic Doctor Who. The plot is based on a certain guy George, who knows how to manipulate space and time. He ends up in a secret organization that is allowed to rewind time every time a new danger threatens the world.



Even though Hornets premiered this year, they have already received 7 Emmy Award nominations. The series is about a high school girls soccer team that gets into a plane crash. They survive, but something mysterious prevents them from getting out of the Canadian wilderness.



What is interesting is that the plot is constructed non-linearly and shows events immediately after the crash and decades later. Judging by the behavior of the now adult girls, it becomes clear that they had to do something for which they felt a sense of shame. If there were no big stars in the first season, then well-known celebrities are already joining the continuation.

Sherwood is a mini-series about a small mining town rocked by two shocking crimes. While the culprits hide in Sherwood Forest, local residents and police suspect each other, and their relationship is strained to the limit.



Released last year, Chapelwaite is an adaptation of the Stephen King short story The Settlement of Jerusalem. In the style typical of his works, the series is filled with mysterious events and dark secrets that the main character, Captain Charles Boone, must deal with.



Well, as a bonus, let’s mention the film adaptation of Gregory David Roberts’ novel “Shantaram,” which is scheduled for release on October 14. In this series, the viewer will see the seamy side of India, which is hardly seen in Bollywood films. The main character is an Australian escaped from prison who moves to the slums of Bombay to treat the local poor. Of course, all this will not happen without adventures, such as participation in the affairs of the local mafia.
