18 patients from different countries showed what they were fed during treatment in the hospital (19 photos)
Being hospitalized is an extremely unpleasant “adventure” in the life of every person. Well, probably, except for those cases when this hospital is called a maternity hospital. And, of course, when you feel better, you will want to eat.
But what they will feed you is a kind of lottery. So patients from different countries decided to share pictures and personal assessment of the look and taste of the dishes they were fed during hospitalization: one was given a chop, and the other was given pasta with poppy seeds - yes, this is not a joke!
Germany
China
It's a postpartum dinner in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, it was not possible to select the level of frying for the chops.
Chile
Australia
Lunch of beef stew, rice, sweet potatoes and broccoli, plus cream of chicken soup.
Czech
This is my dinner. Rating: What the hell/10.
Slovakia
This is lunch in the intensive care unit of Piestany. Unidentified sauce with pork piece and pasta in the form of rice. Yes, it's definitely pasta.
Finland
Dinner in the maternity ward: Fish soup with potatoes and carrots, 4 slices of cucumber and semolina with lingonberries. The soup was actually quite good, although it was a bit on the salt side, and the pudding was really tasty! 4/5!
USA
Cheese pancakes with guava sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, applesauce and yogurt. 8/10 because I wish the eggs were real and not powdered.
Canada
Today's lunch for patients: chickpea gratin with rice and peas.
Hungary
The photo speaks for itself. 1/10.
Norway
Lunch served on Constitution Day - 8/10.
Spain
And here is the terrible menu in this Spanish hospital. Actually, the list of “food”:
York ham;
Cold soup (if you can't serve hot soup, just don't serve the soup);
Applesauce (consisting almost entirely of sugar);
Some kind of bruised bread.
Croatia
Rehabilitation dinner. Regular pasta with poppy seeds. An abomination.
Italy
Dinner: burger patty and green beans. Without salt. 10/10 since this is my first meal in 4 days, but really 5/10.
France
This is what dinner is like in a psychiatric hospital.
Great Britain
Lasagna with mixed vegetables.
Thailand
American breakfast in a Bangkok hospital.
Netherlands
Breakfast of muesli and yogurt with banana and tea, 8/10.
