No one is immune from ending up in the dock, including stars. But if some find themselves in custody due to drunk driving or drunken brawls, then others are sued for some absolutely ridiculous and absurd reasons.

1. Christopher Nolan

In 2008, the mayor of the Turkish city of Batman sued the film director, accusing him of illegally using the city's name in his series of superhero films. The mayor tried to prove that the name of the city was given before the first Man-Bat comics were published in 1939.

2. Michael Jordan

And the famous basketball player was sued by his... double, Allen Heckard, arguing that the similarity with the actor violates his personal space. They say that the athlete’s fans confuse the man with Jordan and constantly approach him on the street. However, Allen later decided to withdraw the lawsuit.

3. Mila Kunis

Kristina Caro, a Ukrainian living in the United States, sued Mila Kunis in 2015. And everything would have been fine, but Christina accused Mila of stealing her chicken named Dog. As children, the girls were friends and the two of them often played with their pet Karo. The girl demanded compensation from the actress of $5,000 for theft and moral damage (they say she often turned to psychologists because of the mental trauma she received).

In response, Mila decided to file a counterclaim for moral damages after watching Karo’s video (the star’s girlfriend was also a singer).

4. Kanye West, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Chris Brown and Jay Z

Richard Jay Dupree is a California inmate who in 2014 accused the aforementioned stars of stealing his lyrics. The prisoner stated that his works of art were stolen with the help of the FBI and CIA. However, Dupree never received the stated claim of $2 million.

5. Beyoncé and Jay Z

In 2014, aspiring singer Tina Seals sued the couple, claiming that Beyoncé and her husband stole biological material and that she was actually Blue Ivy's mother. Tina filed a claim and requested an amount as compensation for moral damages. The girl later stated that she was also a surrogate mother to the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, as well as Mariah Carey’s twins.

6. Sean Combs (P. Diddy)

Valerie Turks sued the rapper for $11 million in 2011, claiming that one of her three sons was Sean's offspring. The girl also stated that once in a casino she gave the rapper a chip so that he could exchange it for money. But Valerie never received the coveted bills, since P. Diddy stole the trophy.

7. Sacha Baron Cohen

The British comedian was sued for allegedly causing two brain hemorrhages in an elderly woman named Richelle Olson when he wrestled her over the microphone at a charity bingo game in Palmdale in 2007. Now, due to her injuries, the elderly woman has to use a wheelchair. In the end, it turned out that the old woman had lied about everything, and in reality she had never even seen the actor in person.
