Judgment Night (2013) 
So we have reached that very fantastic future, when the annual “Purge” is already in full swing in the United States.
According to the plot of the film, unemployment, poverty and crime rates have decreased to a minimum in the country, but on March 21 of each year from 7 pm to 7 am, all crimes, including murder, become legal. Time Runner (1993)

Soylent Green (1973)

According to the plot, by the beginning of the 20s of the 21st century, the Earth is polluted (due to which many species of flora and fauna are disappearing) and severely overpopulated - in New York alone, where the events take place, more than 40 million people live. The overwhelming majority of city residents are poor. The working part of the population survives thanks to the products of the Soylent company, which produces the Green Soylent diet - the most perfect food product in the current conditions.
Of course, the most important corporation on the planet has its skeletons in the closet, which are discovered by a police detective investigating the murder of one of the board members of Soylent.
Murder Online (2021) 
A near-future thriller inspired by the coronavirus pandemic. Such films have already been made and released.

Against the backdrop of the personal tragedy of the film’s characters (the effect of certain drugs forced them to break a strict curfew), it is reported that 2 million people died from Covid in the world in one day, and Great Britain became the seventh large state that practically ceased to exist.

Dark Side of the Moon (1990)

The technology begins to work successfully, but in 2022 a certain failure occurs in the system, and now the hope of earthlings turns into the main threat to all humanity.
Guest from Space (1993) 
In 2022, four prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment are sent into deep space to rescue a lost ship. A positive outcome of the mission will give them a chance to have their sentences commuted.
Once on board the lost ship, the prisoners and the captain sent with them find themselves in a certain world of virtual reality, where the ball is ruled by a certain Ariel, who is able to manipulate men, forcing them to kill each other.
Among the Shadows (2019) 
2022 There are werewolves and vampires in the world, including among officials holding high positions in European organizations. The murder of one of them is entrusted to the investigation of the heroine Lindsay Lohan, who herself is a descendant of werewolves.
The film has the lowest viewership rating of any on this list. Although, what is there, the vast majority of the listed paintings are notable only for the year of the events taking place in them.
2022: Tsunami (2009)

Escape is Impossible (1994) 
By 2022, humanity has created an ideal prison. It consists of an entire island called Absolom, where prisoners are sent, who are practically left to their own devices. Escape from there to the mainland is considered impossible.

In December 2022, right during the World Cup final in Qatar (between Brazil and Scotland, which already emphasizes the fantastic nature of the film), a portal is formed on the field, from which futuristic soldiers appear. They report that they have arrived from the future. It turns out that in 2051, earthlings will lose the war with alien monsters.
To turn the tide of the confrontation, the inhabitants of the future decided to call upon soldiers from the past to fight. Fortunately, in 2051 it became possible to travel through time. The conscription is carried out only among those residents of 2022 who will not live to see 2051.
