Of course, this is a matter of taste, but if you rely on the ratings of the ugliest cars, then these models are almost always found there. 
These three cars appear in these rankings more often than others. Some people, on the contrary, really like them, but the taste and color, as they say...
Nissan Juke, from 2010 
Moreover, two more Nissan models regularly appear in ugliness ratings: the asymmetrical Cube and the cargo-passenger S-Cargo.
The Juke is not synonymous with commercial failure. The model appeared in the UK, where they were looking for a long time to replace the Nissan Almera, which made the British plant unprofitable. 
And so, during a brainstorming session, someone came up with a great idea: it is possible to make the model profitable not only due to an increase in sales volume, but also an increase in price by several thousand pounds. Well, raise the car a little above the ground. And the cost will remain virtually unchanged.
In the following years, it was British Nissan that created two big bestsellers: Qashqai and Juke.
The design of the Juke was drawn in Nissan's London studio. Few people remember, but initially it looked even cooler in the form of the Nissan Qazana concept. 
In Japan alone, the Juke received six times more pre-orders than expected, and in Europe hundreds of thousands of such crossovers were bought a year.
But at the same time, despite the love for the Juke for its originality, many did not understand how it could even get onto the production line. And just like that, little Nissan ended up in the rankings of the ugliest cars.
Fiat Multipla, 2000-2005 
It became a kind of rebirth of the rear-engined Fiat 600 Multipla microvan, which was very memorable for the spare wheel in the front passenger’s feet.
In the 90s, Fiat was on the rise: annual sales almost doubled compared to the previous decade, and the group's new models (Punto, Brava/Bravo, new Alfa Romeo) often became cars of the year.
Excellent conditions for a self-confident decision that the market will forgive anything, because everything that says Fiat was instantly sold. Renault Megane Scenic had just opened the class of compact minivans and quickly became a bestseller, so the new Fiat had to compete for such a tasty morsel. 
They decided to make the body small: only 4 meters. The salon was more spacious: not five, but not six people. The price was lower and they say that in order to complete the task, the designers simply placed six chairs around which they drew a car.
The front row became a three-seater seat and because of this the handbrake was on the left side of the door, and the front passenger airbag was designed for two people.
The length of the Fiat Multipla is 3994 mm, it is 15 cm shorter than its contemporary Volkswagen Golf IV. The floor is flat, the roof is very high, and the width is just like that of executive sedans to compensate for the very short cabin length. 
This is such an unusual two-level body. The Fiat Multipla looked from below like an ordinary family hatchback, and from above like a single-volume minivan with a large glass area and another pair of headlights.
The new model was quite extravagant, so much so that the new product was even exhibited as a masterpiece of industrial design in the Museum of Modern Art. Journalists greeted him warmly, but sales did not go well: only a couple of tens of thousands of minivans a year.
With the restyling, Fiat tried to attract the attention of a more conservative public to the Multipla, but from an unusual car it has now turned into an ordinary one. The design of the first version, over time, lost its shocking spirit and now seemed simply an ugly and ridiculous experiment.
Pontiac Aztek, 2000-2005 
In 1999, General Motors introduced the Pontiac Aztek concept car for the generation born from 1963 to 1980. And he wasn't that bad.
The Aztek show car was a concept for the perfect outdoor recreational vehicle, and the production version came with many of the convenient features of an outdoor car.
A tent could be attached to the back of the plastic-protected body, which turned the crossover into an inexpensive and mobile home on wheels. One of the halves of the trunk door could be lowered to create a bench with built-in cup holders.
There were also separate speakers here so that you could listen to your favorite music in nature, and they didn’t just place a refrigerator between the front seats. You could take it out and take it with you on a picnic. 
The ideas are charming, but usually such concept cars lose half of their features on the way to the assembly line, since many parts have to be changed in order for them to meet certification requirements, safety standards, and also be reliable and cheap to produce.
So, having gone through all the stages of approval, the unusual crossover was no longer original, but something with an awkward body, strange headlights and small wheels, like a supermarket cart. And it became the ugliest car in the USA. 
However, those who bought it, according to research, were quite satisfied with the car. But journalists humiliated Pontiac with their biting epithets. They tried to correct the situation by reducing the price, but the car had already become a symbol of a catastrophic failure in the market.
In 2005, the model was withdrawn from the market and only Walter White, the hero of the TV series Breaking Bad, immortalized this car in the movies. The perfect car to highlight White's patheticness and dullness at the beginning of the series.
