Bears that get hooked on the smell of gasoline (5 photos)

“A bear is walking through the forest and sees a car on fire. He got into it and burned out.” Everyone knows this joke. But the reality is even crazier than jokes from category B. There are toxic-addicted bears walking around the forest. They break into houses, destroy cars, and all in order to get a good sniff of gasoline!

So, I found fuel. All that remains is to find the car and set it on fire.

It would be funny if it weren't so sad. The bears really become addicted to the smell of fuel. Unlike people, clubfoot people do not have moral standards, psychological barriers or rehabilitation centers. Attracted by the pungent, unusual smell, the animals diligently sniff its source. The bears themselves do not notice how they catch the arrival.

I'll give it up tomorrow.

From this second until the end of his life, the bear ends up on the team of drug addicts. He will behave as usual, but as soon as he hears even a hint of the desired smell, the bear will move to its epicenter to catch glitches and get harmful pleasure.

This may be one of the reasons why bears take to the roads. They follow the smell of gasoline.

In places where there is a high concentration of all sorts of nasty things - near abandoned fuel tanks or illegal dumps - the situation is even worse. Local bears gradually stop doing bear business and simply hang out near sources of pleasure. Over time, such bears turn into disabled people. Toxic substances cause problems with the lungs, kidneys and heart.

Bear, stop it, you don’t need it :(

This doesn't make people happy either. In search of the next dose, animals lose caution. They break into hunters' huts, chew through emergency fuel supplies, rub against cars, and even break out boat engines. They don’t think about the fact that such behavior is dangerous for themselves—angry people won’t stand on ceremony with a bear.

A brown bear is waiting for the helicopter to take off in order to sniff the remaining fuel at its landing site.

Do you know what's the saddest thing? We ourselves are to blame for this situation. It is we who bring fragments of civilization to places where they should not be. The bears suffer from this, and after them it also affects us. And this is just a special case of such an ecological boomerang.
