Sometimes directors insert so many Easter eggs, references and just fun details into their films that it is simply impossible to notice them all on the first viewing - or even on the second. Fortunately, in this case, there are film detectives who willingly share their findings online.

1. The rotary phone in John Wick 2 is the same model as in The Matrix.

2. "Back to the Future" (1985). In 1955, Marty sees a billboard that shows a replica of the McFly house in the future.

3. "Halloween: 20 Years Later" (1998). Norma is played by Janet Leigh, who played Marion in Psycho (1960). These characters even drive the same car

4. Initially, Sylvester Stallone was supposed to play Axel in Beverly Hills Cop (1984), but the actor completely rewrote the script to make it a harsh action film, which the creators did not like. He also changed Axel's last name to "Cobretti" and gave him the nickname "Cobra". This script formed the basis for the film Cobra (1986). In the second part of Beverly Hills Cop (1987), we see that Billy is a fan of Cobra.

5. In Pulp Fiction, Tarantino's character wears a T-shirt with a smiling globe in honor of The Orbit magazine. It was the first magazine to interview him, so the director wore the T-shirt as a sign of gratitude.

6. In “Toy Story 2” there is a reference to the cartoon “The Adventures of Flik”: on the wall behind Al there is a poster with the characters

7. “Soul” (2020). There's a poster in the window of a hardware store that says "9-inch nails." This is a reference to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the film's composers and members of the band Nine Inch Nails.

8. In Little Italy (2018), Emma Roberts wears the same T-shirt as her aunt Julia Roberts' character in Mystic Pizza (1988). Both films were directed by Donald Petrie.

9. “The Princess and the Frog” (2009). In the shadow of the villain, the wallpaper pattern turns into a skull and crossbones.

10. Rushmore Academy (1998). The frame below is a reference to a photograph by the famous French photographer Jacques-Henri Lartigue. The same photograph, along with other photographs of Latrig, hangs on the wall behind Max in another scene.

11. The Ring (2002). The tree with fiery red leaves is a Japanese maple. The fruits of this tree are called "samara". That's the name of the girl from the well - Samara Morgan.

12. In the opening scene of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, you can see the suit that Ferris later puts on to pick up Sloan from school.

13. Steven Spielberg appears in Gremlins (1984) in a scene at a science convention.

14. The director of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Ron Howard, also starred in his own film in a cameo role.

15. In Candyman (2021), Burke reads Clive Barker's The Woven World. Barker also wrote the short story "The Forbidden", which was the basis for the first Candyman film.

16. "Batman Returns" (1992). Selina's glasses cast a shadow that is shaped like Catwoman's mask.

17. In “The Protagonist” (2021), you can see a bottle of gin with the inscription “Unobtrusive Product Placement.” This is Aviation Gin, a brand owned by Ryan Reynolds.

18. “Hercules” (1997). The cloak on Hercules' armor is actually a cape given to him by his adoptive mother.
