The automotive industry is filled with a variety of cars, ranging from stunning ones to strange looking ones that seem out of place on the road. But there are also stupid ones! These are cars that have gone beyond the boundaries and become something inexplicable. Stupid cars are created by sculptors, marketers, and sometimes misguided automakers.

Stiletto Art Car

This creation is somewhere between a fairy tale and stupidity, and it is a two-seater car built by David Crowe to conquer his girlfriend. This masterpiece, shaped like a high-heeled shoe, took almost four years to create. Unfortunately, he and the girl ran away before he finished all the work.

Officially named the Red Stiletto, this '90 Art Car is a fine example of cars built by private craftsmen. Powered by a 1976 Honda 350cc engine. The car was purchased from David Crowe in 2007 as a unique addition to a private collection.

Wienermobile

People and companies do crazy things to get their brands promoted, and this car is one of those crazy things. Oscar Mayer has built several hot dog-shaped trucks over the years, and the goal is to make everyone aware of their brand.

The Wienermobile is 8.2 meters long, 3.4 meters high and 2.4 meters wide, and it travels to different places, making Oscar Mayer hot dogs very popular in the United States. By the way, these cars are equipped with V8 engines. The maximum speed is 180 km/h. This hot dog can also be booked for the night, like a hotel on wheels.

Snaefell

Snaefell is a motorcycle with a sidecar, but some people think differently. This creation was conceived and created by François Knorrek, a French motorcyclist who loves to create unusual things. In 1976, the racer purchased and modified a Laverda motorcycle, and after riding it until 1993, he decided to build something special around it. Ten years later, Snaefell was completed.

Snaefell is a true work of art, handcrafted from scratch. It took 10,000 hours to assemble the frame and body, and by today's standards, about $21,000 was spent. Knorreck used parts from BMW, Citroën and other well-known car brands.

Erwin Wurm Fat Car

A Porsche Carrera was used to create this strange model. Renowned Austrian sculptor Erwin Wurm took one of the most iconic cars and transformed it almost beyond recognition. Some people liked this creation, others absolutely did not. Not only the car itself is inflated, but also the seats. Polyurethane foam and polystyrene foam were used to create the mold.

Wurm developed his "fat machine" project in 2000. This creative designer has given the word "absurd" a whole new definition using computer graphics technology and his own vision. I don’t even know what to say here. Perhaps the sculptor knows better.

Quasar Unipower

If driving a small car is scary, then driving the Quasar Unipower is apparently even scarier. This is not just a small car, it is a kind of glass box that will simply shatter in the event of an accident.

Unipower, produced in limited quantities by Universal Power Drives of Perivale between 1967 and 1968, was not a commercial success. This “box on wheels” had a 1.1 liter four-cylinder BMC engine and automatic transmission. If we put all prejudices aside, the device is certainly unique.

Djmobile

This is one of those cars designed specifically to attract attention. Inspired by the song Faithless - God is a DJ, Dutch artist Olaf Mooi created the car of his dreams, so to speak, or to attract attention. Based on the Ford Sierra.

With a built-in sound system, DJ console and huge acoustics, this vehicle is always ready and available for any event. This car is always the center of attention.

Camera Van

This is an art car inspired by a real dream. Harold Black wanted to capture the reactions and expressions on people's faces when they passed this art machine on the street. And since he couldn't do this without attracting people's attention, he decided to build a van covered with thousands of cameras, of which no one could tell which one worked and which one didn't.

The van has a total of 2,750 cameras, and only eight of them work. Six are just taking pictures. The other two are cameras for recording live video.

Phantom Art Car

There will never be a shortage of weird cars in the world as long as there are people like William Burge, people who interpret design in their own way and do their best to show it to the world. The Phantom Art Car is based on the stunning 1937 Bugatti Atlantic Coupe. But Burge goes beyond traditional lines to represent the car in his image.

The most outstanding features of this car are the three menacing looking heads protruding from the front of this coupe. In general, it instills fear and that’s all.
