Flip and grease: 9 things everyone forgets (3 photos)
No. 1 Disinfection of the dirtiest surfaces. When cleaning, many people forget about the things that get dirty the most. Every day we touch our smartphone, door and window handles, computer mouse and keyboard, and flush button on the cistern. Optionally, you can add several more items to this list: microwave oven handle, TV remote control, etc. Disinfect these surfaces.
#2 Check your door handles once a year. Check the screws securing the door handle square. If necessary, tighten using a hex wrench. These screws are located on the underside of the handle (in most, but not all handles). If you don't tighten them, they may fall out over time.
No. 3 Condition of the first aid kit. Check the expiration date of the medications in your medicine cabinet at least once every six months.
#4 Get rid of scale. Clean the inside of the washing machine and the kettle from scale. If there is no special product, use organic acid. Lemon is quite suitable for this. If the washing machine does not have a special mode, then turn it on for 30-45 minutes, after pouring acid into the powder tray. The kettle can be boiled with the same acid. Just don’t forget to rinse the kettle well after.
#5 Turn the mattress over. To extend the life of the mattress, it should be turned once a month.
#6 Lubricate the hinges. Once a year, lubricate door and furniture hinges with special silicone grease. Some “life hackers” recommend using pencil leads, soap, Vedashka, and sunflower oil instead of silicone grease. You don't have to do that.
No. 7 Monitor the condition of kitchen utensils. Check food storage containers, silicone spatulas, brushes and cutting boards. What can be washed, wash it; what cannot be washed, recycle it or throw it away.
#8 Check the legs. Check for felt stickers (furniture protectors) on the legs of furniture that is frequently moved: tables, chairs, armchairs, bedside tables. More often than not, stickers fall off chair legs.
#9 Don’t skimp on water. Water the cactus. He still needs water... sometimes ^_^
