We constantly read something: books, magazines, articles, posts, product labels. This process accompanies a person from the moment when, in childhood, he learns to add the first syllables.





And this is correct, because in addition to the obvious functions - literacy and the practical component, reading also reveals new horizons.

Benefits of reading



1. A significant expansion of one’s horizons, which allows one to significantly expand the boundaries of knowledge in a particular area.

2. Development of thinking and strengthening of memory. Chronology, names of characters, plot line - all this involuntarily has to be remembered when starting to read a new book.

3. Replenishment of vocabulary. Everything is obvious here: an inquisitive person will look for the meanings of new words found in the text, and subsequently use them.

4. Improving speech and, accordingly, communication skills. What helps to better build dialogue with others.

5. Reduced anxiety. The richness and rhythm of a book text reduces stress levels and has the ability to relax the nervous system.

10. A way to combat boredom. A book will help you pass the languid wait in line to see a doctor, at a train station, or on a long trip: a fascinating plot will help you abstract from reality, and time will fly by usefully and unnoticed.
