Modern construction cannot be compared with ancient technologies in terms of the quality and beauty of structures. We see many temples and churches that still stand today. In addition to them, the tourist's eye is also pleased with the royal palaces, which are real decorations of their countries and regions. And here are the ten most beautiful of them.

The Japanese Himeji Castle consists of 83 buildings, stone and wooden. It is surrounded by the Koko-En Garden, in which it is very easy to get lost, since in the Middle Ages the Japanese liked to make dead-end paths in the gardens. The entrance fee to the building is $9, and inside you can see the colossal skill of Japanese wood carvers, samurai clothing and other medieval artifacts from Japan.

Vallo Castle in Denmark is a must-see for tourists. The castle itself is residential, so you can’t get inside, but you can organize picnics on the grounds. The building is an example of medieval architecture.

And again we move to the East, to the town of Mysore in India. Mysore Palace is the former residence of the Wodeyar royal family, and in terms of attendance of Indian attractions it comes in second place after the Taj Mahal. The palace itself was built in the 14th century, but it was often destroyed, and was last built in 1897 according to ancient drawings.

The high-mountain Potala Castle was built in the rocks of China, where the Dalai Lama used to live. Here you can find a monastery, a mausoleum and a museum, and the building itself impresses any tourist with its splendor. Initially, the palace was a defensive structure, which is why the walls are very thick. By the way, it is prohibited to shoot videos or take photos there, although they are allowed inside.

The Palace of Westminster is a building of the architectural ensemble of London. This is not the palace of 1860, but its re-erection after shelling in the 1940s. It is here that the executive branch of the country, headed by the Prime Minister, sits. By the way, you can walk around the building and look at the work of the government.

High in the Alps in Bavaria, the white stone Neuschwanstein Castle was erected, reminiscent of a fairy-tale Disney castle from a distance. This is a fortress, but the palace does not look like a military building. There are a lot of white swans in the decoration of the castle; they are literally everywhere. A dozen royal chambers are open to tourists.

Istanbul Dolmabahce Palace is the symbol of Istanbul. The style of the building is Rococo, and the interior of the castle is reminiscent of Versailles. The castle receives exactly 1,500 tourists a day; according to the rules, more is not allowed.

The Palace of Versailles is a key building in the history of France. Coups, revolutions - Versailles appeared in almost all Parisian events. This is the largest royal building in Europe, and it can accommodate about 20 thousand visitors per day.

Another English architectural monument is Windsor Palace, which has existed for 10 centuries. The royal family and Elizabeth herself visit here, and when she is in the castle, the royal flag is raised on the round tower.
