Surely you have encountered a situation when, during company gatherings, there comes a moment when everyone begins to fade away and silently stare at their phones? To avoid this, it's worth taking note of some popular games that will test your analytical skills and a little physical fitness.

And let's start with the classics, namely “Mafia,” which is especially popular. It will require observation and cunning.

Briefly about the rules (if anyone knows them). People are divided into townspeople and the mafia. The presenter offers to close everyone’s eyes and announces the onset of night for the latter. At this time, they choose a victim who will not wake up when the morning is announced.

After this, the participants begin to discuss who they think the mafia is, which, of course, tries not to reveal itself until the end of the game. After voting, one player is eliminated and reveals his card. The action continues until the mafia (at least one) reaches the end or the townspeople guess the mafioso in their company.

“Hat” is an analogue of the popular game Alios, where you need to explain words to your team. Players are divided into 2 people, write words (nouns) on a piece of paper and throw them into the hat.

During a turn, one player takes out words and tries to explain to his partner without using words of the same root. A certain amount of time is given for one move. If a person guessed correctly, the game continues, if not, the turn passes to the other team. Those who can explain the most words win.

Another classic game is “Forfeits”. It can be played absolutely anywhere. All players put one item in a hat, and then the leader takes out the things (not knowing whose they are) and gives some task.

After this, the player opens up and does what the presenter wished. It is worth noting that the tasks can be the most absurd.

"Truth or Dare?" - will always help you learn something new about your friends and loved ones. The game is to ask this question. If the first option is chosen, you can ask any question (possibly a provocative one). If the second one, then the player completes the task, and then becomes the leader and addresses the same question to the next player of his choice.

Another game that helps you get to know your friends is “I’ve Never...”. The essence of the game is that all players show 10 extended fingers. Each person takes turns saying a phrase, starting with “I have never...” and ending with some thing that he himself has not done, unlike other players. For example, “I have never gotten into someone else’s phone without asking.”

If the player did this, he bends his finger. So, everyone goes in a circle until someone runs out of fingers.

For the game "Who am I?" You will need paper stickers. Players write on it some real person or character from a book or movie. The sticker is then placed on the neighbor's forehead. Each participant takes turns asking a question that can only be answered with “yes” and “no.” If he receives an affirmative answer to a leading question, he continues to ask them until he guesses his character. If the answer is negative, the turn goes to the other player.

“Crocodile” is a favorite game for both adults and children. The presenter asks the person a word, after which he must show it using only gestures and facial expressions. The team guesses within the allotted time. In this case, the indicator changes each time. Those who guess the most words win.

“Danetki” is a type of riddle game. If you’re too lazy to come up with ideas, you can take ready-made ones from some sites, of which there are plenty on the Internet. The point is that the presenter comes up with some kind of situation. For example, “a man went to work 2 hours before, but was late. Why?". Others ask questions that can only be answered with “yes” and “no.”

In this case, only the presenter knows the correct answer. The winner is the one who guesses what the situation really looked like.

Well, let’s finish with such a little-known game as “Crime Scene,” which was invented back in 1944. Here you will need a purchased game and your deduction.

The playing field is a house plan, with each room containing a clue. Players take turns moving pieces, “visiting rooms,” and putting forward versions of the crime that occurred. As you might guess, the one whose character is the first to get to the truth and reveal the culprit wins. The game is perfect for those who love detective stories and logical riddles.
