This is how we get “folk paths” - paths trodden in the lawn that locals use instead of neat and beautiful, but completely useless asphalt paths. And these paths can be very interesting to watch - there is even an entire community on Reddit dedicated to “the paths that people prefer, not the ones that are created for them.”
