But one way or another, all these people (and more) ended up immortalized in the most famous book of records. Albeit for very strange reasons.
Devvrat Anand Jetegonkar and one and a half tons of margarine
A chef from India has become famous for his ability to create interesting edible sculptures. In 2017, he made it into the Book of Records when he created a replica of the Trimurti Elephanta, a famous statue of three Hindu deities, out of margarine. The product weighed almost one and a half tons and was 1.85 meters in height.
Bernard Barker lit on a pole at 60
The oldest stripper. Barker began his career at age 60, retiring from real estate sales. A few years earlier, Bernard had survived cancer and realized that he wanted to change something in his life. The 60-year-old stripper has won more than 40 professional striptease competitions. Unfortunately he died suddenly in 2007.
Wang Weibao stood on his fingers
In 2008, the world learned about the stern Chinese when he was able to stand on the middle and index fingers of both hands for 19.23 seconds.
Jill Drake: Mommy Loves to Scream
Jill, a mother of two children, once made a sound with a power of 129 decibels. This is only 10 decibels less than the sound of a jet plane taking off. Jill herself assured that she uses this skill very rarely and she discovered it completely by accident.
Ahmed Khan and his eyes
This man's skull is structured in a very interesting way - he can easily roll his eyes out of their sockets and keep them in this state for a long time. In the presence of representatives of the Guinness Book of Records, Ahmed bulged his eyes for 3 minutes and 5 seconds, thus breaking the previous similar record.
Takeru Kobayashi: I'm full of hamburgers
At an Italian talent show in 2014, Japanese participant Takeru Kobayashi devoured 12 hamburgers in three minutes, immortalizing himself in the Guinness Book of Records. By the way, he ate six hot dogs in three minutes, which also became a record.
Abby Girl: the dog who rode the wave
A dog on the board is already a powerful achievement. But this Australian Kelpie conquered a wave 107.2 meters high. No other animal can still boast such achievements in the field of surfing.
Jin Songhao: took a swim in the snow
Jin Songhao set a world record by staying in the snow without clothes for 46 minutes and 7 seconds. The record was set in January 2011.
