Perhaps today’s topic will no longer seem new to someone. But I like it because of the opportunity to laugh at some movie clichés.
1) Asthmatics
Still from the movie "It"
Asthma seems to be one of the popular diseases in Hollywood. In films, very often at the most stressful moment, an asthmatic runs out of medicine or has forgotten/lost it.
2) The hero who was prophesied
Still from the movie "Avatar"
I don’t know who writes legends in cinematic universes, but often in such stories there is a prophecy about a hero who will come and save everyone from the apocalypse/slavery/other evil.
3) Wedged - hit your head
Still from the film "Beauty all over"
Sometimes the main character hits his head hard. When he wakes up, he sees the world in a different light. To return to the original (normal) state, you need a blow of similar force.
4) Kisses in the morning
Still from the movie "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason"
I understand that movie lovers are overwhelmed with feelings, so they kiss their partners immediately after waking up. In real life, the first thing in the morning you want to do is wash your face and brush your teeth, and then kiss.
5) An ending that is worse than the open ending
Still from the film "Inception"
Sometimes the film is so confusing that you wait with nervous tension for the ending to unravel your thoughts. But sometimes the directors themselves do not know how their film ends: they say, guess for yourself... Endings are terribly annoying, which confuse even more.
6) Full Moon
Still from the film "Bruce Almighty"
A full moon movie doesn't necessarily need a werewolf story. It could be a romantic night, a murder night, or just a night out.
7) Breakfast in bed
Still from the movie "Think Like a Man"
The stereotype that breakfast in bed is romantic was precisely invented by the creators of films about love. I don't know about you, but this seems completely stupid to me. Eating in bed is neither convenient nor hygienic. What about morning water treatments?
8) Pause and increase
Still from the film "Deja Vu"
By looking at recordings from video cameras, police are able to enlarge images, and they can also somehow magically improve the sharpness of the background.
9) Gently brush your teeth
Still from the movie "Bring It On"
Basically, the main characters brush their teeth very carefully, almost without toothpaste. Of course, they wouldn't look so cute if they were foaming at the mouth like a mad dog.
I also wanted to write about the tolerant attitude, which is now “stamped out” in every second film/series, but it’s better not to.
