A selection of popular cartoons and their analogues, which most often feature poor graphics and a boring plot.

Original content has always been highly valued in the film industry. Unfortunately, creating something truly interesting and original today is incredibly difficult. What makes this task much more difficult is the release of an infinite number of different sequels and remakes. However, budget studios are not upset and release cheap clone cartoons without a twinge of conscience. Why not? If there is no opportunity to create something new, you can try to steal an idea from a neighbor and serve it with a different sauce. As a result, amazing animated films are born, characterized by critically low ratings, strange graphics and often stupid plots. Below are some of them:

The animated series "Adventure Time" and the animated series "The Legend of Lucky Pie"

The animated series Adventure Time was released from 2011 to 2018. As for “The Legend of Lucky Pie,” the first episode of the film was released in early January 2015.

Cartoon "Madagascar" and cartoon "Life in the Jungle: Particularly Dangerous in Africa"

A colorful and vibrant cartoon about the journey of funny animals was released in 2005. A little-known American studio tried to revive the idea in 2012. However, they were not very successful.

Cartoon "Brave" and cartoon "Brave Chiara"

"Brave Chiara" is an Indian cartoon that was released a year earlier than the famous "Brave" - in 2011. Despite this, the production company was accused of plagiarizing the main character.

The animated series "The Simpsons" and the animated series "Samsonadze"

The first episode of The Simpsons aired in 1989. The Georgian analogue of the animated series appeared in 2009.

The animated series "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" and the animated series "Guber and the Ghostbusters"

The animated mystical adventures of the funny Scooby-Doo and his friends were shown back in 1969. Another company released a similar story in 1973. The similarity in the concepts of the paintings is simply amazing.

The animated series "SpongeBob" and the animated series "Fred the Coconut"

Cheerful SpongeBob has been delighting TV viewers with his jokes and gags since May 1, 1999. A coconut named Fred competed with him in 2005, but still could not withstand it. A year later the project was closed.

The animated series "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and the animated series "Dino Squad"

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first made their presence known back in 1987. Over the years, the appearance of the main characters has changed and been adjusted. In 2007, DIC Entertainment presented an extremely similar project, about teenagers who turn into dinosaurs and fight villains.

Cartoon "Up" and cartoon "Up: Balloon Journey"

The original cartoon was released in May 2009. But by October a damaged version had already been published.

Cartoon "Bee Movie: Honey Conspiracy" and cartoon "Honey Trouble"

A fascinating cartoon about a brave bee and a slightly creepy cartoon about life in a hive were released in 2007. It is unknown who exactly could have stolen the idea. Honey Trouble has been heavily criticized for its lazy animation and jokes that are not suitable for children.

Cartoon "The Frog Princess" and the cartoon "The Frog Prince"

The well-known film “The Princess and the Frog”, where Princess Tiana goes towards her dreams, was released in November 2009. A funny copy came out a month later.

Animated film "Happy Feet" and cartoon "Tappy Toes"

The popular animated film about a penguin who could dance was released back in 2006. Its obvious copy, but in cartoon form, was born in 2011.

Cartoon "Finding Nemo" and cartoon "Finding Jesus"

The legendary cartoon was released on big screens in 2003. A very similar picture of the life of marine inhabitants appeared in 2020. Curiously, it even has a second part.

Cartoon "Trolls" and cartoon "Land of Trolls"

A cute cartoon about the adventures of little magical creatures was shown in 2016. A strange picture made on a similar theme was released in the same year.

Cartoon "Cars" and cartoon "Cars, Go"

The first film was shown in 2006 and was a huge success. An extremely similar cartoon was presented in 2017.

Bonus: "Kimba the White Lion" and "The Lion King"

The controversy surrounding the cartoon “The Lion King” has not subsided for years. Many are sure that the film is a copy of the famous Japanese manga “Kimba the White Lion,” which was published in 1965. Especially observant people noticed similarities in the plot, art and general atmosphere. However, the producers of The Lion King have repeatedly claimed that this is nothing more than a coincidence, because they were not even inspired by this cartoon when creating their masterpiece.
