Synthol is the easiest way to look like the coolest guy on the beach.

In addition, this is the easiest way to earn injury, arm amputation and a reputation as a complete idiot. The intermuscular fatty acid preparation, processed into synthetic oil, is injected directly into the muscle by fame-hungry jocks. For the next three to five years, such a person can boast to others about his hypertrophied and completely non-functional muscles.

Having once again looked at the selection of these characters, I came to the conclusion that this is some kind of psychological disease such as anorexia or the type of those who put rings in their ears and noses, sew some kind of bumps under the skin, etc. That is, the disease, and from the photographs it can be seen, it mainly affects some kind of beggars of the “homeless” type with an intellect at the level of the plinth. What is the history of synthol?

Synthol owes its appearance to the drug esiclene. Esiclena gained great popularity in the early 80s, it has weak anabolic activity, but when injected intramuscularly it causes a strong inflammatory reaction, which is swelling, it is this swelling that visually increases muscle volume. Therefore, many bodybuilders used it before competition. But it was esiclene that prompted the German chemist Clark Chris to realize that it was possible to create a similar drug but with a longer effect. So in the 90s they got the drug Synthol, but this name was already taken and the drug was given the name “Pump'N'Pose” (Pump and Pose). It is under this name that it is sold today.

The pioneer and first victim of synthol was the German strongman Klaus Doring. Clark's creation was a golden discovery (for him, of course) because it made it possible for thousands of people to gain weight with an almost fail-safe method, at a price of $400, the price of a bottle of synthol, despite the fact that synthol is banned by all possible committees and federations for direct use, but is sold as oil for posing.

Synthol consists of 84 percent C8 fatty acids (medium-chain triglycerides), some amounts of C10 and C12 fatty acids, 7.5% lidocaine (found as a local anesthetic), 7.5% benzyl alcohol. Roughly speaking, the drug synthol is ordinary fat, oil. The drug is injected into the muscle where it settles between the muscle fibers, when the drug is repeated, the fat between the fibers becomes more and more, stretching the spaces between the fibers and this causes an increase in muscle volume, but the muscles themselves remain at the same level, they are just stretched like a balloon.30 percent of the drug disintegrates in the body and the remaining 70% settles in the muscles and disintegrates within 5-8 years.

And now the most interesting madness is the use of the drug. Injections are administered with a thin needle. The first 20 days, 1 ml, the next 10 days, 2 ml, and then 3 ml every day until the growth of muscle volume stops. When muscle growth stops, take 1 ml every day for 30 days, 1 ml twice a day for the next 30 days, and 1 ml every week for the next entire month. Only after completing this course of taking synthol can you count on permanent results. After 4 months the course must be repeated again. Note, 275 injections into one muscle, just imagine 275.

Probably many have heard that the training of those who use synthol (the language dares not call them athletes) acquires extraordinary completeness and becomes “truly difficult.” Every now and then you read about an “extraordinary pump”, about how your arms “get clogged” after just one approach to any upper body exercise, just like after a hundred approaches to any arm exercise. All this testifies, firstly, to the absolute illiteracy of the consumers themselves, and secondly, to the absolute literacy of those who sell this rubbish.

So let's be clear. Pump itself (pumping) is a subjective sensation that arises as a result of increased blood flow to the working muscle, which occurs as a result of dilation of blood vessels and, accordingly, an increase in blood supply to the muscle, perceived as distension, etc. As for the severity of the workout and “clogging” of the muscles , then all this is determined by functional ischemia of the working muscles (i.e., although the blood flow is increased, it is still insufficient to adequately supply the muscles with oxygen), the consequence is anaerobic glycolysis, the production of lactic acid, burning and pain in the muscles. What happens if there is synthol between the muscle fibers? Everything is very simple. During the first approach, the oil mechanically compresses the blood vessels and nerve endings, which is felt as a pump, a burning sensation, “muscle clogging”; the muscles practically do not work.

“Although Clark claims that synthol is absolutely safe, nevertheless, in one of the issues of “Uncensored” by Greg Zulak, he disclaimed all responsibility for the possible consequences for the body when using it for purposes other than posing oil.” This quote.
